CHATEAU CHASSANTOUR - Beaujolais-Villages Lantignie, M Perroud. Produced from the Gamay grape, this is a fine example of Beaujolais. Light, flowery, and delicious with distinctive style

FLEURIE - E Loren et Fils. Fruity, well made wine. One of the cru wines of the Beaujolais district and probably the best known

GIVERY 1ER CRU CLOS - Jus, Gerard Mouton. Gerard Mouton's Clos Jus has such a delicious, sappy Pinot Noir front that it makes it one of our favourite good value Burgundies. Comes from the Chalonnais area

CHATEAU DU GRAND MOULAS - Cotes du Rhone, M Ryckwaert. Soft and round with beautiful fruit and flavour. From the Southern Rhone

CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE - Domaine du Rempart. Chateauneuf-du-Pape is probably the best known of all the Rhone wines. This is full bodied and rich, but lighter than most
